Message from the Administrator
Thank you for visiting the Highland Christian Schools website!
This is one of the most exciting times for HCS as we enter our 20th year of operation. As the new administrator, it is a privilege to join a team of dedicated and highly motivated staff. Above all we want to see each and every student at Highland excel in their God-given gifts and talents.
We are putting in place a comprehensive academic curriculum built on a foundation of Biblical principals. Though not all students will choose to pursue college after graduation, HCS is a college-preparatory school. Our goal is to develop people of character who make a difference in the world at large. Whether he or she chooses a career in the marketplace, a call to the mission field or higher education, HCS is here to equip our students with the discipline, knowledge and wisdom taught through a Christ-centered approach to learning and living. We engage our students to have a relationship with Jesus Christ and to know the word of God the Bible so that it may have personal relevance to their lives.
Our ratio of one staff for every fifteen students allows us to know students beyond what most schools can provide. We offer individualized instruction, personal attention and a genuine desire to have every student be uniquely cared for in a transparent environment. The relationships that are made here are made for a lifetime! We hope you will visit our close-knit community of students, teachers and parents and see what education can be.
On behalf of Highland Christian Schools,
Kevin Reimer, Principal/Administrator
History
Highland Christian Schools was originally founded as Master's Touch Christian School and organized in the summer of 1990 as an independent private school. From the beginning we have offered classes for all grades, K-12. The primary influence in the organization of the school was from the teaching staff at that time, and from a group of parents interested in the formation of this Christian school. The entire school is currently located at 135 South French Street.
Mission Statement
Provide for and give to children a weekday Christ-centered education in an interdenominational structure that promotes and maintains the fundamental unity of the school and home. To glorify God by providing quality, Christ-centered education dedicated to developing discerning leaders who are spiritually, personally, and academically prepared to impact their world.

Our Mission
To maintain the highest standards of education so the students will be well prepared to enter the secular world in which they will live, to serve and minister to that world, recognizing that "we are in the world but not of the world".
